Auto Glass and Mirrors
Precision Auto Glass is an auto, boat and RV glass repair shop with a proven track record of success. We warranty all our workmanship and have an excellent history of perfect installations. We don't believe in cutting corners to save time or costs—safety for the customer is our #1 priority.
Precision Auto Glass is a locally-owned and operated company. Our low overhead allows us to pass on the savings to you, without sacrificing quality. We have built a solid reputation that keeps customers coming back and referring friends to us. We're proud to serve our local Utah community, and look forward to building a relationship with you.
At Precision Auto Glass, our technicians are trained in both windshield glass repair and replacement. Our goal is to restore the integrity of your windshield, instead of replacing it completely. Depending on the size and severity of the damage to our windshield, if it needs to be replaced, we can have it completed the same day. We work in accordance with Federal Law standards, vehicle manufactures, and adhesive manufacturers. Our experience and diligence ensures your safety on the road.
Mirror Replacement
The mirrors on your vehicle are also made from glass, which means we are able to replace broken mirrors on any of your vehicles. Mirrors are just as important as the windows and windshields since they allow an unobstructed view when undamaged. It is unsafe to drive without a side mirror since they allow you to see other cars and trucks on the road. They are also necessary in order to safely change lanes. Both of your mirrors must be in good condition when you drive. When it comes to the mirrors on your vehicle, it is simple and affordable to have them replaced if they are chipped and cracked. We usually recommend a replacement of a side mirror as opposed to a repair. This has a lot to do with what the mirrors are made from.
RV Mirrors
We are able to replace and repair the convex and flat mirrors on your RV as well. Once they are installed, they need to be adjusted accordingly. Convex mirrors allow you to see down the side of your vehicle and into your blind spot where another car may be driving in the lane next to you. This mirror will also show you another lane over as well. Having clear vision to your blind spot when driving a large, heavy vehicle is best done with clear, undamaged mirrors. The flat mirrors on your RV must be set correctly for safety reasons just like the convex mirrors. You should be able to see a small portion of the side of your vehicle. Flat mirrors are designed in a way that allows you to see a vehicle up to 200 feet behind you. This allows you enough time to see another car coming and determine when it is safe the change lanes. You will most likely be driving at a slower speed than other vehicle around you, so being able to see that far behind you will give you enough time to change lanes at the speed you are traveling.
Avoid Driving With Damaged Side Mirrors
Glass: When the mirrors on your vehicle are cracked, something as simple as closing the door on your car or truck can cause the damaged glass to shatter, getting into your vehicle, on you, or under your tires.
Vision Obstruction: An obstructed view makes any vehicle unsafe to drive. A broken mirror can mean the difference of seeing or not seeing another vehicle or pedestrian, creating a safety issue. Side mirrors also aid you in checking your blind spots and changing lanes on busy highways.
Highway Patrol: If there is damage to certain parts of your vehicle, including the mirrors and windshield, you can get pulled over and ticketed for having an obstructed view. Having any damage fixed can be less expensive than a traffic ticket.
Insurance Claims
Dealing with your insurance company can be frustrating, especially when you are trying to find out what you are covered for. When it comes to finding out about your coverage, we do the work for you. We know what questions to ask so we can get to work on your vehicle. This is done the same day you bring in your vehicle. All you have to do is give us your insurance information and we take it from there. Our experience with insurance adjusters is very beneficial when you need to make a claim because, as experts, we can give them the most accurate information to ensure coverage.
Warranty
We stand behind all of the work we do. We offer a lifetime workmanship warranty and manufacturer warranty on all of our work. If we installed your glass incorrectly we will fix or replace it for the life of the glass. The manufacturer warranty covers stress cracks (cracking for no reason) and defects in the glass. We believe in taking care of our customers and offer the best customer service and warranty in the industry. We rarely have warranty issues—rest assured, if you have a problem we will fix it and take care of you!
