When we replace your cracked windshield we have to pull off the camera’s from the windshield. These cameras are how the vehicle see’s the road, lanes and other vehicles. When we install the new glass and reattach the cameras they may not be sighted in to factory specs. This is where our experience and cutting edge technology comes into play. We have a large library of digital targets that we set up in front of the vehicle (specific to each make and model). We use lasers to measure the distance and heights of these targets. Once we have everything set up correctly we can then connect our computer to your vehicle. Our computer talks with your vehicle’s computer and sights in the cameras back to factory specs. This can be a very technical process and that is why we only hire the smartest technicians to work on your technologically advanced vehicle and train and certify them.
